Photobombing
You may have been redirected from photobombing.com, unfortunately there isn’t anything particularly interesting here right now. Try “Say something… to Someone” in the sidebar :o)
Otherwise, read on about what Photobombing is/was/will be again.
Photobombing originally consisted of me leaving hundreds of photographs all over the place. Each one was labeled with an ID number and a link to photobombing.com. The idea was that someone would find the photo and then take a new image that incorporated the original one that they found. This new image would be uploaded to photobombing.com.
The idea was to stimulate creativity in complete strangers, and connect people through the images. Here’s some examples.
- Fly Trap
- Focus on Reflections
- Fragile Towers and Me
- Juxtaposition
- Top Withens
I’m actually going to restart the photobombing project but in a rather different guise. I’m going to mail out the images to people that I know and ask them to take a photograph incorporating the original, then upload that to the website as usual. However all of the images involved will be geo-tagged so you can actually see the movement of the images from place to place.
Recently “Photobombing” has also been applied to “The fine art of ruining other peoples photographs” that maybe why you’ve ended up here… If so I suggest you take a trip back to Google (or Google fight in this case).
